Gallery Ink-Drawings
In this gallery, I present ink drawings—currently two series, one from 2009 and another from 2013. Both series explore the theme of jazz. In Bamberg, there is a wonderful jazz club that hosts regular live performances. The sketches—typically created in pencil on small scraps of paper—are taken during the concerts themselves. The ink drawings then expand upon these initial sketches, bringing the core of the underlying idea to the forefront. Ink is an excellent medium for perfecting the art of reduction.
